After 7 years - some exciting developments in the Engage pipeline

Engage has been ‘on the go’ for 7 years this year and in keeping with the whole ‘7′ being the number of completion thingy that precedes a new beginning there are a few really interesting developments in the pipeline.

Can’t say much about it at the minute as some stuff has to be confirmed but we sense that God has been speaking that a time of pregnancy is about to go to the birthing stage.

Sorry to leave you hanging with just a teaser but if you’re not on the newsletter list then you need to sign up mighty quick! (by-the-way it’s free and we take your privacy seriously) we’ll keep you posted as things unfold.

For 7 years we have been ‘engaging’ with God in intercession for the community. Some of us who have been on the Engage journey from the start are now playing in various groupings within the very community that we have been interceding for. Some have even been on international missions playing in foreign pubs and clubs and seen the power of God at work. There is no reason why we shouldn’t expect the same thing to happen here in the Coleraine area. Cafes like Ground and even some pubs are open for good, creative music that combines a mix of spiritual and secular. Is it now time to move out and for Engage to actually engage with the world. Many of us have honed and learned the ‘trade’ of music at Engage and perhaps that was a preparing for something new. I believe God is ready to honour Engage in a new way and His favour appears to be resting on us (and Coleraine) partly due to a faithful, obedient preparing of the way for the past 7 years. Doors are opening and we should be prepared to enter in the name of Jesus. ‘Sing of His righteous acts at the watering places (song of deborah)
